ISSA CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER
Harrison designs personal training programs around strength and hypertrophy with an emphasis on using physical therapy exercises to work around and correct previous injuries, muscle imbalances, and other limitations in the gym. In 2020 he sustained multiple injuries to his shoulder and back from a fall while rock jumping. It was at this time while recovering from his injuries that he found a passion for strength training and physical therapy to help heal and strengthen the body. As a trainer he likes to focus on building a strong foundation first, and works with each individual client to create a custom program tailored to their individual goals.

Fynn Crooks (she/they) is a lifelong athlete and a NASM certified Personal Trainer with specialties in corrective exercise and senior fitness. She trains from the HAES (Health at Every Size) framework, putting the focus on the joy of movement for every body. Fynn also loves to nerd out about muscles and movements, loves building inclusive community around fitness, and seeks to make the gym a welcoming and accessible place for all. As your trainer, Fynn will build a program with you that motivates, builds power, capacity, strength, balance, mobility, and flexibility. You should also expect to laugh nearly as much as you sweat!
Before diving headlong into training, Fynn spent nearly two decades as a middle school math and science teacher and then worked on government policy and advocacy related to global public health. Both of those professions required a lot of patience, tenacity, and that incredible sense of humor - all things she brings to her training practice now.
Outside of Pale Horse, Fynn loves music, dance, and all things outdoors - especially cross country skiing and mountain biking. Fynn is a certified mountain bike coach through GSMBC and loves teaching people to bike nearly as much as she loves teaching people to lift weights!

Leland is a competitive powerlifter and trainer at Pale Horse Barbell with an athletic background in collegiate rugby and nearly a decade on the powerlifting platform. Since his first meet in 2016, he has competed raw, wrapped, and single-ply, earning multiple first-place finishes at regional and national-level APA competitions.
Among his accomplishments is an APA National Record 605 lb raw deadlift in the Men’s Open 148 lb Tested division. His best competition totals are 1,300 lbs raw, 1,325 lbs wrapped, and 1,350 lbs single-ply, with career-best scores of 454.97 raw DOTS and 465.10 equipped DOTS. At the 2026 APA Can-Am Championships, he totaled 1,350 lbs at just 151.9 lbs bodyweight, including a 475 lb squat and 600 lb deadlift.
Leland’s path as an athlete has also included two major comebacks. He underwent a left distal biceps reattachment in 2024, followed by a right rotator cuff repair and biceps tenodesis in 2025. He returned to competition after both setbacks, competing again in 2025 and 2026 and setting new personal bests along the way. Those experiences have shaped his perspective on training: progress doesn’t happen overnight, setbacks don’t have to be permanent, and consistent work over time matters.
As a trainer, Leland focuses on building strength through good technique, progressive overload, consistency, and training that fits the individual. Whether someone is brand new to lifting or already experienced under the bar, his goal is to make training challenging, approachable, and productive while helping each person become stronger and more confident in what their body can do.
Outside the gym, Leland works in engineering and machining within the aerospace manufacturing industry but strength training and competition have been a major part of his life for nearly a decadeRate- $50 per session

In 2011, while playing semi-professional football for the Vermont Rampage, I discovered CrossFit. I earned my CrossFit Level 2 certification and completed the CrossFit Strongman SME and CrossFit Powerlifting SME specialty courses.
My focus later shifted to Strongman and Powerlifting, where I qualified for and competed at the national level. I’ve competed in and coached dozens of Strongman contests, Powerlifting meets, Highland Games events, obstacle races, and grip strength competitions.
I currently coach Track & Field at both the high school and middle school levels.
Over the years, I’ve worked with athletes and clients of all ages, abilities, and goals, from those new to strength training to competitors preparing for high-level competition.

As a Personal Trainer, I specialize in corrective and functional movement. Whatever your goal, my approach starts the same way: build a strong foundation first.
I help clients improve how their body actually functions — mobility, stability, versatility, strength. I treat the body as one connected system and believe education is the gateway to long term success. I enjoy teaching my clients how to look upstream and address the cause of pain/injury and faulty movement matters, not just program around the symptom.
That whole-body lens comes from my work as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, where I've spent years helping clients resolve chronic health issues through root-cause nutrition and lifestyle changes. I bring that same philosophy to training — movement, recovery, and nutrition aren't separate, they're all part of restoring how the body is designed to work.
I'm CrossFit Level 1 certified and hold my Level 2 through The Gymnastics Course (TGC). I have also been a competitive Equestrian and Olympic Weightlifter - competing at the National level, while enjoying life through movement - hiking, mountain biking, skiing, paddle boarding, salsa dancing, and more.
I love working with women looking who are interested in understanding how our hormones affect our training (how to sync and optimize both), those who are looking to recover stronger post-injury as well as those who would simply like to optimize the functionality of their body.
You can email me directly at kdgoller@gmail.com if you would like to schedule a session or inquire with any further questions about Personal Training or Nutritional Therapy.
